Omega-3 fatty acids are in either fresh wild-caught fish or in different types of seaweeds. Omega-3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and Omega-6 fatty acids are pro-inflammatory. In a typical dog or cat’s diet today, the ratio is about 1:40 (one Omega-3 fatty acid to 40 Omega-6 fatty acids) which is actually a pro-inflammatory diet. Feeding Directions (for the 8 oz. bottle):

Add daily to your pet's food according to the weight chart. Feed 1/2 teaspoon per 10 lbs. of body weight daily. One pump equals approximately 1/2 teaspoon.

Split daily amount between meals, and gradually work up to the daily pump strokes amount to avoid gastrointestinal upset (this is a rich oil).
